Outside Sales Associate - Dallas, TX, USA

What will you do?

  • Schedule regular product presentations for new collections to show designers our latest collections. We typically have 4 to 5 product launches per year.
  • Assist the local A&D community in sourcing specific fabrics and wallcoverings within our vast portfolio of products, for their specific design projects.
  • Target with product specific presentations
  • Create client specific sales targets by regularly reviewing sales and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Build key relationships within the design community.
  • Increase our customer base through research and observation, including the use of social media in order to create new leads and become a prime designer resource.
  • Meet or exceed a mutually agreed upon annual sales goal.
  • Manage and log your sales calls in our customer service management software.
  • Generate a quarterly synopsis of your territory with updated goals for accounts that require extra monitoring.
  • Display integrity and a relentless commitment to providing the best possible customer service.
  • Manage customer libraries with a la carte sampling and/or other sales and marketing tools to build an optimal and easy to use product library.
  • Report to higher management.
  • Make a conscious effort to partake in industry events.

Requirements:

  • College degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in either Design, fashion related sales, or prior industry sales experience
  • Positive, energetic, can-do attitude
  • Passionate about luxury products, interior design architecture and/or fashion
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management and follow up skills
  • Customer-driven
  • Willing and able to travel, up to 2 weeks per month

  • Work alongside Interior Design clients to Introduce new collections and promote suitable fabric and wallcovering solutions for a wide variety of design projects
  • Offer product options and “schemes” requested by interior designers via email or phone.

  • Manage all aspects of order entry, including quotes, reserves, sales order entry and order processing, along with any and all required follow up
  • Maintain correct inventory levels for memo samples

Cleaning Supervisor (Day Time) - Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Romo is very proud to have recently moved into their new, bespoke, spectacular building and is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to help to ensure the cleanliness of the building meets the high expectations of the organisation. The building is close to 400,000 square feet in size, which includes a three-storey office block, two storey production area, several design studios and a café.

The cleaning will take place from 6am to 6pm and the Supervisor role will be involved in devising a rota for the Cleaning team. Generally working hours will be Monday to Friday however some weekend work will be required particularly when deep cleaning is required.

Contract term: Full time, permanent

Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour (circa £25,000 per annum) dependent on skills & experience

Required start date: Immediate


Reporting into the Electrical, Mechanical & Facilities Manager Romo is looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead a group cleaners. As well as having cleaning responsibilities, the Cleaning Supervisor will also,

Maintain a cleaning timetable

Carry out stock takes

Precure equipment and materials

Ensure the standard of cleaning is maintained at the high level required by Romo

Communicate clearly and regularly with the team and the manager
