Export Customer Service Coordinator (German Speaking) - Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Export Customer Service Coordinator to join our busy Export team.

Are you fluent speaking in German? Are you customer-focused, with a passion for delivering outstanding service? Are you an experienced Administrator looking for your next challenge? With customers at the heart of our business your role will be to support with multinational enquires and orders.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Providing professional customer service excellence to our network of international agents, distributors, and customers

· Responding promptly to customer queries via email and phone, providing clear, accurate information and effective solutions.

· Coordinating and administering enquiries across international markets, resolving issues related to orders, shipping, and documentation with a customer-first approach.

· Managing incoming sales queries and order placement through multiple channels, ensuring timely responses and delivering practical, customer-focused resolutions via our IT systems.

· Addressing customer questions on orders, delivery status, and export documentation, offering proactive and solution-oriented support.

· Proactively tracking parcels, resolving queries, and keeping agents and distributors informed.

· Collaborating with our internal teams such as Credit Control, Stock Control, and the Warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient order processing.

· Analysing cost-effective shipping options providing efficient and effective logistics for our customers.

· Managing weekly consolidated dispatches, booking freight forwarders, and maintaining clear communication with distributors.

· Developing and maintaining your knowledge of customs and export processes, including key Export documents, Incoterms, Rules of Origin, commodity codes, trade agreements, and preference.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including proficiency in German, with a high level of accuracy and quality in all work

· Collaboratively minded and thrives on working as part of a team

It would also be beneficial if you are:

· Familiar with export documentation and customs procedures

· Familiar with using Customer Relationship Management strategy and software

· Experienced in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Customer Service and Export environment
